About PAWS-itive Partners
PAWS-itive Partners Humane Society, Inc., (PPHS), was formed in 1998 by a group of animal lovers to promote responsible pet ownership, implement spay/neuter programs in order to control pet overpopulation, promote the adoption of homeless animals and to be supportive of the animals at North Platte Animal Shelter. PAWS-itive Partners is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation and is comprised of volunteers who wish to better the lives of animals.

Our Urgent Short-Term Pet Care Program!
There’s a huge need and a great program serving pets belonging to pet owners suddenly hospitalized or taken to ER, entering assisted living for rehabilitation care, temporary homelessness, etc.

Paws Up Scholarship
PAWS-itive Partners awards a scholarship annually to a post-high school student pursuing an animal-related field of study.

Our mission at PAWS-itive Partners is to reduce overpopulation through prevention. Spaying and neutering your pet is the best way to reduce unwanted litters.
North Platte Animal Shelter Adoptables
We support the animals staying at the North Platte Animal Shelter by spreading adoption awareness and educating the public to increase awareness of responsible pet ownership.
